Fishbone is a long-lived, influential band, self-described as jazzy ska-gospel-punk-raggae. Fishbone first gained attention with their unique live concerts, earning a reputation as one of the most original bands in the alternative genre. Their unique stew of different styles mixed with hectic energy and pounding rhythms were a huge influence on the funk/rock/metal/rap genre that would become popular in the 1990s.

    If you haven’t seen Fishbone, drop everything and GO!!!!!! I have known these guys since 1985, and they are the one of the best live bands you will EVER see! I have toured with one of the biggest bands in the world, and I say Fishbone still outlives, outlasts, and outplays damn near everybody.

    There. I said it. Fishbone is REDD HOTTT!
